NFC is a ska/grunge/punk band hailing from Shaolin, NYC. If you don’t know where that is you need to upgrade your music game, ace. The group has been kickin' around since the Obama days, created at former mental institution turned institute for higher learning, the College of Staten Island. The ragtag bunch were music majors who didn't know they were selling their souls for the sake of SKA! While many members went on to become real grown-ups, bassist Alan-Arthur Aurelia, Singer/Guitarist Jaime Rails and Singer/Guitarist Maggie Hampton decided to drink Peter Pan’s magic elixir to stay as kickass and rad as ever. With the help of Vito Fraccalvieri drums, James Reilley on Tenor Sax/Trumpet and Yuuki Koike on Alto Sax, the group keeps the bangers coming. NFC ain’t your dads ska, nor do they totally fit the mold that has become the sound of the 2020s and that’s because NYC does whatever NYC wants. If you’re looking for a fresh slap in the face, you’ve come to the right place. Stay tuned for the band’s next single “You and I” due out July 19th, with a full LP to follow later this year!
